The Icarus MTB lives and breathes.
So pearly, fitted to accept a belt drive and a carbon rigid fork. More snapshots at http://www.flickr.com/photos/icarusframes/
Icarus MTB back from paint! Hope to get some shots back from the owner once its built up and beat up!
Doing some carving to a fork crown for Korosuke. The crown just looked too heavy so I wanted to customize it a bit. The sides remind me of military medals now, and I like it a lot more.
I was in California last week to visit family and I also met this guy! He is Shinya Kimura, he creates amazing motorcycles in Azusa, CA. I have been a fan of his work for a couple years now I was very excited to meet him and see his work in person.
It turns out that Shinya raced bicycles in highschool and still owns a 3Rensho track bike. He wanted to bicycle frame builder back then so he had a lot of questions about the process.
I love how this green looks with stainless bits. This is part of a frame set headed to Niigata City, Japan. It will have a Sturmey Archer 3-speed. A few more photos on http://www.flickr.com/photos/icarusframes/
