Track racing frame headed to NYC. Features a 44mm headtube with tapered carbon track fork, a very stiff downtube from Dedacciai and a flared seat tube for even more BB stiffness.

The paint was done by Airedale paint here in Austin. This frame had a rapidly approaching deadline and working with a local painter seemed the best way to make sure it was completed quickly. Jon at Airedale doesn’t have a website but he has been doing paint for carbon builders; Alchemy, Crumpton, and Kirklee. The matte over a slightly metallic grey turned out pretty cool.

I would have lined these shots up better if I knew I’d be putting them next to eachother. ONE FRAME TWO FACES.

Paragon 44mm headtube for tapered forks. I wanted to take a few mm off the top but then had to add back on a ring so that the headset would still meet up nicely. At Icarus I always find new ways to take a long time doing stuff. Whoops.
